Hi Folks, just wanted to put up a quick note about Maker Faire. If you are in the SF Bay Area this weekend, it's an event not to be missed! If you've never been before, it's an awesome mix of art, technology, DIY, steampunk, and general eccentricty. Brittney and I will be selling our art wares in the Bizarre Bazaar all weekend. I will have the usual prints, buttons, originals, cards, etc...along with some awesome "Sustainable Sketchbooks" that are handmade, recycled, and have original handpainted art on the covers! Hope to see lots of folks there!

Seattle Sketchbook
Took a short trip to Seattle last weekend and had a blast. What a great city! Delicious food, cool architecture, beautiful parks, tons of dogs. What more could you ask for? I had time to do a bunch of sketches. Check em out!

Metamorphica Part 3: Some Inks
Here's the last batch of pics from Metamorphica. I used my awesome new brush pen that I am in love with.
They did a cool improv bit with a mask.
She looks like a creepy doll.
I liked this big stick thing they had as a prop.

Metamorphica Part 2: Some blue pencils
Here are some more drawings from Metamorphica. This was a really interesting event, featuring Bhutto dancers and live musical performances. The idea was to do sort of a smaller, more intimate version of the figure drawing sessions that Massive Black puts on at those big conceptart.org events. The models were great and I met a lot of cool artists (like Gerald and Cameron and Sergio and Quincy.) I will do one more post with some more drawings and maybe put some photos up too. Thanks to Nadia for organizing things!
Sorry the image quality on these is not the best. Too lazy to scan these big ones in pieces...
